The Met Office is the only regulated source of aviation weather. Sign up for the free Aviation Briefing Service.

BALPA is the commercial pilot’s union, but you can join for free as a student commercial pilot once you have your PPL(A).
AOPA is an international organisation that represents pilots and aircraft owners. There is a fee for joining but they can help in many ways.
If any students or pilots wish to join the British Women Pilots Association, it’s a great networking, social and support group for women in aviation.
