Here are some links you might find useful in your flying journey.<\/p>\n

All flying activity is regulated by the CAA<\/a>, including Flight Crew Licensing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Aeronautical Information Publication<\/a> is the regulated source for much of the information pilots need to safely conduct a flight.<\/p>\n

The Met Office is the only regulated source of aviation weather. Sign up for the free Aviation Briefing Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are also some excellent organisations to help you on your journey.<\/p>\n

BALPA<\/a> is the commercial pilot’s union, but you can join for free as a student commercial pilot once\u00a0 you have your PPL(A).<\/p>\n

AOPA<\/a> is an international organisation that represents pilots and aircraft owners. There is a fee for joining but they can help in many ways.<\/p>\n

If any students or pilots wish to join the British Women Pilots Association<\/a>, it’s a great networking, social and support group for women in aviation.<\/p>\n
